The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has partnered with Athletiq as its Official Performance Partner to promote the sport's growth in India. This collaboration aims to enhance infrastructure, talent development, and high-performance pathways, supporting athletes from grassroots to international levels.

The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has named Athletiq as its Official Performance Partner in a move aimed at accelerating the sport’s growth across the country. The announcement was made in New Delhi, with the IPA, the government-recognised governing body for pickleball in India, confirming that the partnership will focus on strengthening infrastructure, talent development and high-performance pathways.

According to the IPA, the collaboration is designed to support the sport from grassroots to international levels, with Athletiq working closely on tournaments, athlete engagement and visibility initiatives.

The partnership will focus on three key areas: improving tournament infrastructure, identifying and nurturing talent, and providing innovation-led equipment for players.

“Athletiq represents the new generation of Indian sporting brands—innovative, ambitious, and deeply committed to the development of the game. We are pleased to welcome Athletiq as our Official Performance Partner and look forward to working together to further strengthen the pickleball ecosystem in India,” said Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, President of the Indian Pickleball Association.

The IPA has played a central role in structuring the sport in India through national tournaments, coaching certifications and ranking systems, helping establish a pathway for players to progress competitively.

Athletiq, a homegrown performance brand, will support these efforts with a focus on equipment innovation and athlete support.

“We are honored to partner with the IPA. They have been the driving force behind the rise of pickleball in India, and we are proud to support its mission. This partnership represents a shared ambition to elevate the sport, empower athletes, and create a stronger platform for the next generation of players,” said Harsh Sharma, founder of Athletiq.

The brand, backed by in-house research and design, aims to provide high-performance gear tailored for Indian players while meeting global standards.

The IPA said the partnership aligns with its broader goal of expanding participation across age groups and regions while building a competitive ecosystem.

With pickleball continuing to grow rapidly in India, the collaboration is expected to play a key role in shaping the sport’s next phase, particularly in bridging the gap between grassroots development and elite competition.
